The Most Effective Way to Reduce Body Fat Ever Found!

By John Kidder

How to reduce body fat? This seems like a popular question these days, and it should be. The World Health Organization estimates that there are 1 billion overweight people in the world with 300 million of them being downright obese. Well, if you are one of these people do not fret because I am going to tell you one of the best ways to reduce your body fat.

Unfortunately, so many people are unsuccessful at reducing body fat because they do the wrong things. Ever had any success with sit ups? How about crunches, leg lifts or knee raises? No. That is what I thought. Those exercises are great for building muscle but they do not do anything for burning fat. This is because you can not spot reduce fat and, even if you could, those exercises do not burn nearly enough calories.

But, surprisingly neither do all the cardio exercises that everyone tends to do to reduce body fat. Oh, do not get me wrong, they do have some effect. But, even after an hour on the Stairmaster you will only burn 500 calories. Now, you have got 3,000 more to go to lose a single pound of fat.

Starting to sound like a daunting task. Well, enter the game changer!

By lifting weights you can actually increase your metabolism so that you are burning more calories throughout the day. This is done in a couple of ways. First, muscle weighs more than fat so a body with more muscle must work harder and burn more fat to do so. Second, if you do
exercises like the dead lift, lunges, snatches and others you are throwing your body into a metabolic shock so that it burns calories at a higher rate for days after the workout.

Now that we have covered the basics, here is the most effective way to reduce body fat ever discovered it is called the Tabata protocol and was developed by Dr. Izumi Tabata in the 1990s. It is basically 8 20 second periods of intense exercise with only 10 second periods of rest in between. That is right, only 4 minutes of exercise a day. This format has been shown to burn fat as much as 9 times faster than any other type of exercise format. I have seen footage of people doing that Tabata protocol on exercise bicycles who have lost 36 pounds in two months.

However, for our purposes we will be using something referred to as a kettlebell (KB) which looks like a cannonball with a handle. Because of its design it is ideal for swinging which brings an added cardiovascular element to weight training and allows you to burn up to 20 calories a minute and lose up to 1% body fat a week!
